a problem exists. These checks are designed to prevent or identify
potential problems that could lead to mechanical breakdown, malfunction
or failure of a component or system on your RV. Preventive maintenance
consists of cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, adjusting and servicing
your RV.
* Scheduled
Maintenance
or routine maintenance is performed
in intervals normally based on time, mileage or hours. Scheduled
maintenance is designed to keep your RV in top operating condition and
prevent untimely breakdowns and repairs. It is absolutely essential that
you read your owner's manual and warranty information in regards to who
is responsible for what when it comes to scheduled maintenance.
Scheduled maintenance that is required by the manufacturer and not
performed can void your warranty.

Regardless of the
time of the year, your RV systems need to be inspected. There are
several things on your RV that need to be inspected on a regular basis.
This may sound like a useless task to some people, but to others, “An
ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” When your RV has
been inspected and maintained it gives you added security when hitting
the road.
Our job is to prevent you from having
problems, however we all know that there is always a possibility of
something going wrong. If and when it does, it is our desire to be there
and help you get back on the road again as safe as possible. Happy

Checking simple things can save you head aces
down the road. Such as: checking the tires for wear, tears, sidewall
cracks and proper pressure. Check the roof for cracks, check the windows
for leaks, and check the vent fans to make sure they’re working. These
simple things are all part of a larger ongoing maintenance.
Here at Happy Trails RV Service, LLC our
certified technicians will be happy to inspect your RV. We offer a
comprehensive check list safety inspection that is highly recommended
for all RV’s. From class A coaches to class C, fifth wheels, travel
trailers, pop-ups, slide-in for trucks and modified horse trailers each
and every one needs an inspection and scheduled maintenance to keep you
rolling down those Happy Trails.
Our comprehensive check list safety
inspection covers the electrical system, generator, plumbing, propane
system, appliances and the exterior of your RV. Our technicians will
carefully note the condition of each component and will indicate which
areas, if any, need attention. You will then be presented with a copy of
the check list safety inspection along with a list of any items that may
require service. Any and all repair service will be discussed with the
RV owner before any work is done. This way the owner will know up front
any cost involved in repairs.
