PREVENT PROBLEMS BEFORE THEY START

Preventative Maintenance

Preventative maintenance is maintenance you perform on your RV before a problem exists. These checks are designed to prevent or identify potential problems that could lead to mechanical breakdown, malfunction, or failure of a component or system on your RV.

Preventive maintenance consists of cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, adjusting, and servicing your RV.

KEEP YOUR RV IN OPERATING CONDITION

Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled or routine maintenance is performed at intervals normally based on time, mileage, or hours. It is designed to keep your RV in top operating condition and prevent untimely breakdowns and repairs.

Read your owner’s manual and warranty information to understand who is responsible for scheduled maintenance. Not performing maintenance required by the manufacturer can affect warranty coverage.

COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE & SERVICE PACKAGES

An ounce of prevention.

Regardless of the time of year, your RV systems need to be inspected. Several things on your RV need regular attention. As the saying goes, “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.”

When your RV has been inspected and maintained, it gives you added security when hitting the road. Our job is to help prevent problems, although there is always a possibility of something going wrong. If and when it does, it is our desire to help you get back on the road as safely as possible.

Happy Trails is not just our name—it is our entire attitude about your trip.

Checking simple things can save you headaches down the road: tires for wear, tears, sidewall cracks, and proper pressure; the roof for cracks; windows for leaks; and vent fans to make sure they’re working. These checks are all part of ongoing maintenance.
